Guinness Extra Stout
I enjoy the rich flavor, with hints of chocolate, and coffee in the back ground, and the velvety texture it has. I normally buy this if on an everyday bases. Its my "if all else fails beer". Goes really well with red meats too.
Shock Top Belgian White
The Belgian white by shock top is probably my favorite light beer. It is a wheat ale that has an orange-lemon taste which means they probably brewed it that way. The after taste is really refreshing and this is a great beer to have with seafood.
Black & Tan
Black & Tan is rich and toasty. It’s got a coffee-like taste that’s comforting on cool nights. It’ also lends well to cooking. It has a dark color and foams light. Hence it’s name.
This lager is smooth and mellow, with sweet undertones. It’s the perfect compliment to a tender burger or a balmy summer night. Brooklyn lager is another anytime beer.
Stella is a classic beer; definitely a great go-to when a bar doesn’t have any new or exotic beers, or if you need to provide for a dinner party. It’s smooth and zesty with a nice finish.
Lagunitas Is well known for their dark beers. I chose this one specifically because it is a cappuccino stout which lives up to its name. It has the dark toasted expresso bean taste with all the added benefits of the stout. Its smooth and heavy.
Flying Dog Raging Bitch
Raging Bitch is one of my favorite from the craft brewer, Flying Dog. This Indian pale ale is one of my favorites. It’s hoppy toasted and not to heavy with a hint of fruit. Makes a perfect beer for a beautiful spring day.
Duvel Belgian Golden Ale
Like most Belgian ales, Duvel’s golden ale is a crisp, yet slightly zesty, light beer. it has a clean finish and goes great with almost all foods. Its the perfect beer to keep around when guest come over.
Southern Tier Creme Brûlée
The brûlée is sweet and rich, like a drinkable dessert. It’s got caramel overtones with hints of maple syrup. This specific Brûlée has a crisp toasty flavor with some chocolate-like undertones.
Kuka American Pale Ale
The Kuka American Pale Ale is a very hoppy, very fuzzy and zesty beer. It pours into a white head with a mild lacing. Hints of hop and malt takes over the palate with some caramel notes.
Kentucky Bourbon Ale
Kentucky Bourbon ale is a toasty, crisp, smooth and dark ale. It has a smokey undertone. It almost tastes as if it were stored in wood instead of a glass bottle. Great with bland foods to give your meal some umph.
All Day IPA Session Ale
All day IPA session ale is another anytime beer. Its fuzzy, fruity and semi hoppy. It has some what of a goldish hue and generous on the palate. Perfect for a warm day or rainy one.
